How to Secure Your Account with Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) 

For your protection, we require that you secure your account before proceeding with your mystery shopper activities. This ensures that your account is fully protected, that your funds remain safe and prevents unauthorized access to your account. 

It is important to follow certain steps to activate the necessary security features. One of the most important security measures is two-factor authentication (2FA), which adds an extra layer of protection to your account. The two-factor authentication system requires linking a phone number to your account. It is crucial to use a phone number that supports SMS functionality, as it will be used to send you the codes needed for authentication. If you only have a landline, please reach out to our support team at info@lanla.com to find an alternative solution. 

Below, we will walk you through the process of securing your account using 2FA, including verification steps and common troubleshooting tips. 

The 2FA process will be triggered automatically after you have at least 3 missions assigned/completed in your profile, or you want to redeem your rewards. 

Once the process is triggered, follow the next steps: 

Step 1: Verify your email 

A pop-up window will open telling you it’s time to Secure your account.

You will first be asked to validate your email address.

Click on the link you will receive by email to complete the email validation. A new window will open with confirmation that your email was validated. Continue from there.

Now that your email has been verified, you need to reauthenticate, or login once again with your email and password.

Now let’s go enable the 2-factor authentication. 

Step 2: Verify Your Phone Number 

When you log back in, a pop-up window will ask you to enter a code sent by SMS message to your mobile number.

Once the code is entered, your phone number is now verified and the 2FA is now activated. Your account is now better protected.

After your phone number and email are verified, you will need to log in again. This step ensures that only you can enable and manage the added security for your account.
