Retention of My Identity Documents

Your documents are kept only for the time required to complete the identity verification process and are then automatically deleted.

Adult identity documents are retained for a few days, while a child’s identity documents are kept for a slightly longer period.

Once this retention period has elapsed, the document images are permanently deleted. The result of your verification (for example, Approved) remains on file, but the images themselves are no longer stored.

This retention policy is designed to protect your personal information and ensure the privacy of your identity documents.
